New Beginnings...
Lyn and I have been together since January and we are excited to be taking this next step in our relationship.
I met Lyn in 1979 when we were at UMD together. She is the oldest friend I have. We got together before I came out and were together off and on for 4 years. It has been such a thrill for me to reconnect with her again and we decided to do this again. Something seems to be keep drawing us together.
I have given my notice with my landlord and I am moving in with Lyn on September 28th (October 1)!!! September is going to be a very busy month for me!
Can you believe I am a pack rat (or so they tell me!)? I like the word 'collector', it sounds so much better!!!!
I have 72 storage containers and 5 file cabinets (10 drawers!). 20 of the storage containers are Christmas - so I don't count them (hee hee) but totally, I will get them down to 34! So that's 52 containers of my life since the 80s down to 14 - not too sure how it's going to happen but I am confident I can do it!!
Actually, it's time to clean house! I am actually excited to simplify my life (or at least my storage containers)! It's going to be fun again having a yard to garden in, create beauty (or at least try) and just have fun with my flowers.
Lyn has two dogs, Daunte and Carter and Sabrina loves them! Her ears perk up every time I tell her we are going to see "the boys". We think Daunte even has a crush on Sabrina and will sit right in front of her and just look at her. It's so cute. Sabrina, being 12 is a little set in her ways and can sometimes be a little uppity and will ignore Daunte but it's still very very cute. Yesterday for the first time, they all played together, which really made me happy!
