Fall-Time...

Fall is a time for change...watching the leaves change, feeling the weather get colder, being aware that it is getting darker earlier and most important (to me) getting the yard ready for winter.

It is a hard time for me because it means that I can't be out in the garden. I have been waiting for the first frost or for the temps to get colder to prune everything back but the weather has been so nice, I still haven't finished my 'garden winter prep'.

More News...
Sabrina has had two surgeries in the since August 22. The first surgery, only fatty lumps were removed and just last week, October 22, our vet removed our second 'Mast Cell Tumor'. We found out yesterday. Prognosis is 'fair', which is excellent for a pathologist to say, according to our vet. We have an appointment on Saturday to discuss our options but the last time we didn't do chemo and so I am leaning on not doing it again.

Sabrina is 10 and a half and is in GREAT spirits. She has more energy lately (as well as a few changes). I think surgery is hard for anyone. I will keep you posted.

It has been SIX years since Cath and I had our ceremony! (We've been together 7 years on the 31st!) We had a great weekend. We went to Turtle Lake Casino, had a bon fire on Saturday night and ended our weekend with a spagethi dinner on Sunday. We had a great and relaxing weekend.
Who would have ever thought (15 years ago) that I would be content to be at home 'relaxing' and thoroughly enjoying it!!

Thanks for stopping by today!

It's been a long time...

...since I 'blogged' (a friend at work tells me that is the correct terminology - do I feel really old!!)

Well my story aired on a Friday night after the Vikings football game and I was really happy that the story got out. Since then, I've discovered that the drug in drixoral that helps me with my allergies is NOT the Pseudoephedrine! Now that beats all! All this hassle for a drug I don't need. I also just discovered that they are pulling all drugs with Pseudoephedrine in it to 'reformulate' allergy medicine. Now what am I going to do....

There is a wonderful pharmacist at the Walmart in Forest Lake that found me a generic drug with the formulation that I need and I have 500 pills - that means that I have 250 days to figure out what I am going to do. I will keep you updated...

Fall is here and it's not my best time of year. I get a little depressed that summer is gone but Cath and I had a bon fire last night which lifted my spirits. I can't wait to burn leaves!!

Until later...
